Descripción: Se trata de una versión computerizada del conocido Symptom Check List 90. Almacena los datos brutos en un archivo (scldata.dta) para permitir su posterior edición y análisis. Asimismo, crea otros archivos (summary.dta y sclcum.dta) en los que se encuentran las puntuaciones factoriales, el índice general sintomático, el total de síntomas positivos y el nivel de distrés; todos ellos se pueden consultar con cualquier procesador de textos.

Computerized Cognition Laboratory

  
Descripción: The Computerized Cognition Laboratory helps integrate the teaching of cognitive psychology and research methods. The experiments allow students to examine short-term memory (acoustic similarity effects and memory-span), long-term memory (semantic similarity and elaboration effects), and decision making (framing effects and heurisitcs), thus providing illustrations of effects commonly cited in cognition textbooks and research literature. The software employs both between-groups and within-subjects designs, and continuous and categorical dependent measures. Therefore, one may use the package to teach the application of several statistical procedures, including X2, correlation, t test, and ANOVA.

Descripción: The Psych/Lab (TM) software contains programs to run versions of classic experiments from Human Cognitive/Experimental Psychology. The programs allow some (but not too much) control over parameters of their operation, provide raw trial data in text files, include analysis programs to compute condition means, and they are free! There is also a program that allows one to run their own reaction time experiment. Donders Reaction Time. Inhibition of Return of attention. Lexical Decision. Memory Scanning. Mental Rotation. Muller-Lyer Illusion. Precuing Visual Attention. Signal Detection. Stroop Interference.The software has been in use since before 1990 for the Experimental Psychology course at Washington University, and in many other places around the world. You can use any of the programs for teaching or research, and you can distribute them to others for the same purposes but do not sell the software or otherwise use the programs or documentation for any commercial purpose without contacting the author first.
